The current framework of the European Higher Education Area and the changes introduced in official regulations stipulate that universities must guarantee, in their actions, compliance with the objectives associated with the programs they offer, and must also strive for continuous improvement. Therefore, universities must have formally established and publicly available Quality Assurance Policies and Systems .
CEDEU has an Internal Quality Assurance System for its Degrees ( SGIC ), designed in accordance with the AUDIT program, developed by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA) .
The objective of CEDEU ‘s Quality Assurance System (QAS) is to guarantee the quality of all the official qualifications for which it is responsible, reviewing and improving its training programs whenever deemed necessary. These programs are based on the needs and expectations of its stakeholders, who will be kept promptly informed by maintaining the QAS itself permanently updated in order to:
- Responding to the commitment to satisfy the needs and expectations generated by society.
- To offer the transparency required within the framework of the EHEA .
- Incorporate continuous improvement strategies .
- Organize their teaching initiatives in a systematic way so that they contribute effectively to quality assurance.
- Facilitate the accreditation process for implemented degrees.
The documents that make up CEDEU ‘s Quality Assurance System are basically a Quality Manual and a Procedures Manual, which have been developed based on the guidelines of the AUDIT program and including the sections required for the verification, monitoring and accreditation of Official Qualifications:
- Evaluation and improvement of the quality of teaching and teaching staff.
- Procedures for analyzing the employment placement of graduates and their satisfaction with the training received.
- Procedures to ensure the quality of external internships and mobility programs.
- Analysis of the satisfaction of the different groups involved ( students, academic and administrative and service staff, etc. )
- Attention to compliments, suggestions, complaints and claims .
- Procedures for the extinction of a title .
- Dissemination of information on degrees. The documentation is available to the University Community at the following link: Internal Quality Assurance System Manual
Information related to the characteristics of the authorized training program, registration in the RUCT and the monitoring report , as well as the main results of the Qualification, can be found in the following links:
The renewal of accreditation marks the culmination of the implementation process for official Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees registered in the Register of Universities, Centers and Degrees ( RUCT ). The renewal of accreditation for official Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees is organized into three phases: self-assessment report, external visit, and final evaluation .
In the first phase, the university describes and assesses the degree program ‘s status against established criteria and guidelines. The result is the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) , which is then submitted. The second and third phases are carried out by a group of evaluators external to the program being assessed.
